Iโd like to introduce some of the underground sex spots Iโve visited overseas. Today, Iโll start with Southeast Asia.
Jakarta, Indonesia ๐ฎ๐ฉ
Puri Sehat Spa & Sauna (brothel)
This is a brothel located in Jakarta. I went during the daytime, and there were 4-5 ladies there, all of a decent level. Since it seems to be open from the daytime, it might be a good option for people who want to have some fun before the hotel brothels or Kota Indah start.
KIMOCHI SPA (brothel)
This is another brothel similar to the first one. There are 4-5 ladies, and they're all pretty decent. It's open during the day, which might be a plus in Jakarta where you tend to have a lot of free time during the day.
HOTEL ROYAL VIP (brothel club)
In a corner of Kota Indah, a local red-light district, I discovered a building that seemed more upscale than the other bars. Upon entering, I was greeted by an English-speaking mama who guided me inside. Inside, loud music was playing, just like in the other bars, with a topless lady standing in the center, acting as the DJ.
After sitting and drinking for a while, I asked the mama to hold a contest. About 20-30 ladies lined up. When I inquired about the price, it was 900,000 rupiah (approximately 57 USD), which is more expensive than other red-light districts in Jakarta, but the average level of the ladies was relatively high, and they were all friendly. When I asked about opening hours, they said they open at 1 PM, and the ladies are all ready around 4 or 5 PM. I visited around midnight that night, but it seemed some of the ladies had already been called to the attached KTV, so if you want to carefully choose a lady, itโs probably better to go earlier to have more options.
Vientiane, Laos ๐ฑ๐ฆ
VIENTIANE PLAZA (erotic massage)
I visited a Vietnamese erotic massage parlor located on the grounds of the Vientiane Plaza Hotel, as I had heard about it. Unlike other brothels, this one was open during the daytime. To the right of the Vientiane Plaza Hotel building was a small two-story building, and to the right of that was an even smaller building, which served as the reception and waiting area for the ladies. When I inquired about the price, I was told it was 1,200,000 kip (approximately 58 USD) for a session. There were 5 or 6 ladies when I visited, and after choosing one, you would move to the adjacent two-story building for the session. The ladies were of a decent level, and Iโd estimate their age range to be early to late twenties. When a customer arrived, they paid attention, and some even smiled; compared to other brothels in Vientiane, they seemed more friendly.
Since it's open during the day, it might be a good option for those who want to have some fun in Vientiane during the day ๐
SOKXAYPHONE HOTEL (brothel)
Along with Laondao Hotel 1, SOKXAYPHONE HOTEL is another popular spot for brothels found online. I visited during the day, but the brothels only open at 6 PM, so I waited until nightfall and returned to the hotel. Upon entering the hotel grounds, I saw middle-aged women sitting in what looked like a motorcycle parking area; these were apparently the pimps. I asked them to show me around, and they led me to a room on the first floor. There were about 5-6 ladies in the room. Some of them were, well, not so attractive. The price was 600,000 kip (approximately 29 USD).
In terms of both the number of ladies and their quality, I felt Laondao Hotel 1 was superior.
Tihao Hotel (KTV)
I visited the KTV at the Tihao Hotel, located right next to the Soksaiphon Hotel. I tried to go during the day, but there was no one there, so I reluctantly returned at night. When I went at night, there was a Chinese man at the front desk, and he seemed to speak primarily in Chinese. He said the opening hours were from 8 PM. He asked, โDo you want singing or a lady?โ I answered โa lady,โ and he explained the price, saying it would cost 3 million kip (approximately 145 USD) to take one home (presumably the price for a longer session). He said he would show me the ladies, and lined them up at the hotel front desk. There were about 10 ladies, and (unlike other brothels) they were wearing proper dresses. They also seemed to have good manners. I think the average level of their looks was higher than other brothels.
While the price is a bit high, I think itโs a good option for a relatively safe (?) way to have fun in Vientiane ๐
Mekong Hotel (KTV)
This KTV is located in the Mekong Hotel. It's a fairly well-known spot in Vientiane.
Walking left from the Mekong Hotel's parking lot, you'll find the entrance to the KTV. A male staff member explained the system: you pay for your own food and drinks inside, and taking a lady back costs approximately 106 USD (apparently, payment is also possible in Lao Kip, Thai Baht, and Chinese Yuan).
The ladies werenโt particularly friendly, but they were reasonably well-dressed. The average level wasnโt low either. It seemed relatively wholesome and a good place for some fun.
Brothels in the Chinatown near the airport
My friend and I explored the area near the airport looking for brothels. During the day, there didnโt seem to be any buildings that looked like brothels, and it seemed like there was nothing there. However, at night, several buildings emitting suspicious lights were scattered along the road. We spotted at least five buildings that looked like brothels in this area.
Inside, the ladies were lazily fiddling with their smartphones, occasionally glancing over at us. One lady was even sitting there holding a baby! ๐ I wonder what would happen if I chose her?
At one establishment, I inquired about prices and was told 200,000 kip (approximately 10 USD), and 600,000 kip (approximately 29 USD) for a longer session. This is considerably cheaper than hotel brothels. In terms of the ladiesโ level, Iโd say it was lower than Laondao 1, and about the same as Soksaiphon, or perhaps slightly lower.
There were at least five brothels, plus KTVs and erotic massage parlors inside hotels, so I thought this area could be considered a concentration of nightlife spots in Vientiane. Also, although I never found out the truth, I saw two ladies who were clearly working as prostitutes walking down the street and going into a building with its shutters down. I knocked on the shutters just in case, but no one came out, and it ended in mystery. (Perhaps it was a delivery-only establishment.)
TG CLUB
While walking through the Chinatown near Vientiane airport with a friend, we came across an unusually large building and decided to go inside. There were several heavily guarded security staff at the entrance, creating an unusual atmosphere. We took the elevator to the third floor. When the elevator doors opened, it was like stepping into another world. The interior resembled a state-of-the-art club; I couldnโt believe we were still in Vientiane. We went to the reception and asked if we could see inside, and they readily agreed. My friendโs ability to speak Chinese probably played a big role. (I suspect the success rate is significantly different depending on whether you ask in Chinese or another language.)
Once inside the main floor, it was a dazzling space like a casino. Several groups of customers, presumably Chinese, were sitting on sofas and chatting. I couldnโt confirm all the prices, but it seemed that even just sitting at a sofa table cost around 500 yuan (approximately 70 USD) to 1,000 yuan (approximately 139 USD). It seems like a great place to experience something out of the ordinary, but I think if you go there with your usual attitude, itโll end up being quite expensive ๐

Hunan Grand Hotel (hotel brothel)
We went to a hotel brothel in the Chinatown near the airport. We were led to a hotel room, and the ladies were presented in a showroom where you could choose one. There were about 7-8 ladies, and they were all quite attractive. I didnโt use the service myself, but my friend who was with me did. Payment is usually in Chinese yuan, but since he didnโt have any yuan on him, he was allowed to pay in Thai baht, and he paid 3,640 baht (about 100 USD)
Yangon, Myanmar ๐ฒ๐ฒ
APPLE BAR (KTV)
I visited Apple BAR, a nightlife spot in Yangon, Myanmar, that's often mentioned online alongside EMPEROR. Located in the suburbs of Yangon (near the airport), it took about an hour by taxi, partly due to the evening rush hour. The barโs location is quite different from downtown Yangon, feeling very suburban. There were no streetlights, and it was pitch black a short distance from the bar.
The bar's entrance was decorated like a club, very clean and glamorous. I paid the entrance fee of 20,000 kyat (approximately 10 USD, which seemed to include the first drink) and went inside.
Inside, there were many ladies, and as soon as I sat down, they surrounded me, practically begging me to choose them. There must have been close to 100 ladies in the bar. There were quite a few cute ladies, and the age range seemed relatively young. (The average age might have been younger than at Emperor?) I asked the waiter about the system, but he didnโt speak much English, so he explained it to me in broken Japanese. He said it cost 200,000 kyat (approximately 95 USD) to take a lady home, and that I should give 100,000 to the establishment and 100,000 to the lady upon leaving. He also said it was possible to take her back to a hotel in central Yangon. (Although he didnโt say it, itโs quite a distance, so I suspect youโd need to give the lady some money for a taxi on the way back.)
There were quite a few cute ladies, and I could have enjoyed myself there, but my hotel was far away, and I figured taking a lady back would cause a lot of trouble afterward, so I left and headed to Emperor in central Yangon. (Iโve posted a separate report about Emperor.)
The downside is that it's far from central Yangon, but if your itinerary involves arriving at Yangon Airport in the evening, I think booking a hotel near the airport and going to Apple BAR for the night is a viable option.
Name unknown (brothel)
I visited a brothel recommended by a friend who has lived in Yangon extensively.
The place has no sign or anything, so you wouldnโt know it was there from the outside. At first, I went into the wrong building, and it only had a regular massage parlor. However, a guy working there offered to take me to two erotic massage parlors.
The prices were 30,000 kyat (approx. 15 USD) for the first and 45,000 kyat (approx. 21 USD) for the second. The ladies at both places were considerably lower in quality compared to Yangonโs popular KTVs, but considering the price, it wasnโt a bad deal. (I wasnโt in the mood to go at the time because Iโd been out partying every night, but I might have gone if Iโd been really horny.)
The inside of the places was relatively clean, but since youโre taken to a place with no sign and surrounded by local-looking guys, it might be a little scary for someone not used to traveling abroad. (It reminded me of the brothels in Kamathipura, Mumbai.)

Iโve forgotten the details, but there was a brothel here too. The entrance was behind a shutter, and inside were some pretty intimidating-looking young men (covered in tattoos) who showed me around.
