Detail
The online community I belong to, โYoasobi Salon,โ held an offline get-together titled โNoa, thank you for your hard work in Vietnam! Off-site gathering ๐ป๐ณ.โ
First, let me introduce Noa. Her name is Noa Amo. She was a former maid cafe lady from a major maid cafe group operating primarily in Akihabara. Currently, her popularity and exceptional hospitality skills had caught the attention of the groupโs management, and she had been appointed president of โKurageโa new Mermaid Group cafe, and โMermaidโa flagship cafe.
Furthermore, she had strong ties to Yoasobi Salon I belong to. She sponsored and assisted an event held by the owner, JOJO, in 2024, and had also appeared on the salon's regular radio program. She was a very popular woman within the salon.
Noa had recently spent several months in Vietnam to help launch a new overseas branch of the Mermaid Group, but she recently returned to Japan. To cele1 TP3Tate her return, 10 members of the salon decided to surprise her at Kurage, where she was scheduled to work. Day off ๐ป๐ณโ, they gathered in Akihabara on the weekend.
Steps to enter the cafe
Mermaid Groupโs themed cafes, including Kurage, generally do not accept reservations. Since there were many of us, we had informed Noa in advance that we planned to visit, but she couldnโt reserve seats for us, so we decided to just show up without a reservation. After a light meal at an izakaya in Akihabara, we called Kurage to let her know we were coming, and Noa answered the phone saying, โThatโs fine, weโll be waiting for you.โ We then headed to the cafe.

The interior felt like a clean and tidy bar. It had a refreshing feel with a white-based color scheme. And there were lots of girls in cute and sexy outfits. As soon as we entered, the owner, Noa, greeted us and said hello. The group of 10 of us split up, with 5 at the counter and 5 at the sofa seats.
The ladies who came with us
Each of the 10 guys had a lady assigned to them. I'll introduce them to the best of my recollection.

All the ladies were young, cute, and had great personalities! And for some reason, they all had big boobs, and the cleavage visible through their costumesโฆit was exciting. It was so much fun.

Thanks for hard work at the Vietnam event
To express our gratitude to Noa, who had been in Ho Chi Minh City for several months to help launch a new branch in Vietnam, 10 salon members who visited that day prepared a small bouquet for her and presented it to her. The bouquetโs colors were chosen to reflect the colors of Vietnam, ranging from red to purple. Noa looked absolutely adorable holding the bouquet!

A surprise from the owner of Yoasobi Salon
While everyone was having a great time, JOJO, the owner of Yoasobi Salon who couldn't make it that day due to scheduling conflicts, came with a surprise. JOJO ordered Noa's original champagne (commonly known as โOri-chanโ), and the place erupted in excitement! Noa herself opened the champagne, and we all enjoyed it. (It had an apple flavor like cider, and it was delicious!)

*A video of Noa opening the champagne can be found at the bottom of the page.
About the price
The bill for that day, for 10 customers and 3 sets (40 minutes x 3 sets), came to a total of 216,500 JPY (including 25,000 JPY for the original champagne from JOJO) (about 1,500 USD). I was prepared for a hefty bill, considering how much Iโd bought the girls to drink during the 3 sets, but it was only about 150 USD per person, which made me think, โOh, thatโs not so bad!โ I think it would be even cheaper if we didnโt buy the girls so much to drink. Itโs a cute price compared to hostess clubs or girlsโ bars. However, for me, the satisfaction level was much higher than hostess clubs, and I think itโs definitely worth considering the cost-performance ratio.
The Mermaid Group has been quite popular and talked about lately, but โKurageโ (Jellyfish), which Iโve introduced here, is a relatively new establishment and might be a hidden gem. The location is good, the ladiesโ costumes are cute, so if youโre interested, be sure to check it out!
