On the way back from the Dominican Republic, I stopped off in New York...
I traveled to and from the Dominican Republic via New York's John F. Kennedy Airport, and also via New York on the way back, but my return flight from New York to Tokyo was suddenly cancelled due to an aircraft malfunction. Flights between Tokyo and New York are very popular, so it took some time to turn around and I ended up staying in New York for a few days.
