I didn`t have any fun, but the ladies told me about the prices etc, so I thought I`d record it here.
It's located in the central office district, close to Singapore's Merlion. It's on the 12th floor of what looks like an office building, and from the outside it doesn't look like there's a bar. I looked on Google Maps to find it, but it just looked like a normal building so I ended up walking right past it. I ended up walking right past it.
The inside is a club-like bar with a stage in the middle where a live band plays. There were many beautifully dressed ladies standing around the floor. Also in Asia, "LA Cafe" in Manila, Philippines, and "CJ's Bar" in Jakarta, Indonesia were similar, but Ipanema felt more sophisticated and had a more upscale atmosphere.
More than half of the male customers in the bar were white men, and they were drinking with ladies by their sides all over the place.
Abtout the ladies
Most of the ladies were probably from Asia, and all the ones I spoke to were from Vietnam. There were also two black ladies (one of whom said she was from Kenya ), and one white lady, though I'm not sure if she was a freelancer or the original companion of the white guy.
About the price
I was asked to order a drink when you enter. I ordered a draft beer, which came to 17 SGD (Singapore dollars).
When I asked the girls I spoke to how much it would cost to hang out with a freelancer, they quoted the following prices
- 350 SGD (I said I'd consider it, and they said 300 SGD would be fine)
- 400 SGD
- 500 SGD
(230 - 390 USD)
Honestly, it's way too expensive 😇
There were certainly a lot of sophisticated and beautiful ladies, but most of them looked like the kind of ladies I'd find in Geylang It was fun chatting with a pretty lady at the bar and then going straight to the hotel, but in terms of value for money, it seemed a bit off. (I didn't play, so I can't deny the possibility that the gameplay surpasses those.)
The bar itself was very clean and stylish, and the music playing was great, so it might be fun to spend time there. I also wrote this report while drinking and listening to music at Ipanema.
